During my time working with Fender, I led the PR strategy for its Agency of Record (AOR), cementing its position as the leading guitar maker. This included numerous cultural moments like H.E.R.’s iconic Grammy performance with an acrylic strat, a first-of-its-kind hotline with Finneas, and the brand’s most successful campaign, which encouraged millions of Americans to learn how to play guitar using its learning app in 2020. This campaign resulted in over 7 billion coverage impressions, organic artist amplification (including Billie Eilish, H.E.R., and Orville Peck), and a 900% growth in the app’s user base.
